»Reminder

On May 20Th. ,1999 a group of Lions of our Club, travelled to Mendoza so as to participate in the 43Th. Lions Clubs National Assembly. They were profesionals, hosewives,merchants, employees, students, Lions, Lady Lions, Leos but above all they were FRIENDS.

They had prepared a service to carry out in that Assembly, They went wishing to participate, to learn, to interchange experiences and to work.

Very early in the morning, on May 21St ,in Road 7 –Villa Mercedes, at about 5 kms from San Luis, They found their death. They did not aware about the accident.. It was Duch a strong and unexpected shock that nowadays, alter these years we still feel their voices, and they are still present. It is hard to accept they are not phisically with us any more, but we are sure they are spiritually near us.

We feel the relief that their absences do not exceed their presence y the serenity that God took them with him, maybe to form a Lions Club in Heaven and from there they will always guide us.

After this it was very difficult to go on with our activities and to open our Club doors once again, but we felt that our community and they themselves asked us to do it and they did not allow us to give up this beautiful and rewarding mission of SERVING.
